We're loving working with N2 CMS, an opensource asp.Net platform which enables rapid development of great looking, standards compliant website content management systems.
We've worked on many Content Management Systems over the years, developing solutions using both PHP and asp.Net. Whilst we can still offer bespoke development for either platform, we're encouraging new and exisiting clients to opt for N2.
What we really like is its intuitive interface for the end-user. Adding to, editing and deleting content is a breeze. As developers we love the way you can quickly develop your own classes, enabling web 2.0 style content to be easily added and importantly configured and managed by our end-clients with little or no technical knowledge.
Things like flash banners, jQuery rotators, You Tube videos, Twitter feeds, Gallery pages etc etc. All can be added and controlled by you through the CMS.
It means we can build you great looking and immersive websites which you control and update.
We're currently encouraging all of our hosted clients to convert their sites to using N2. How long this takes varies from site to site, but many can be converted for just a few days work. This forms part of our strategy for 2010 to enable you to take more control over the day to day maintenance of your sites, freeing up budget for us to hep you with real value added work.
