Digital Office Solutions provide hardware and software print solutions throughout the UK, from their main headquarters in Darlington.

Their original website was built in-house and was a complete flash solution.

Our intial consultancy explained how all of their site content was hidden to search engines and highlighted areas for improvement; defining business goals for the website: prospect data capture; easy to find contact details; better display of and navigation to their range of equipment.

Other areas for improvements included accessibility and usability issues along with a more modern look and feel.

We developed a site which included some use of flash for aesthetics along with the main elements of better navigation and easier product search.

Alongside a more useful overall site structure we built a product drop down, which gives users instant access from the homepage (and subsequent pages) to specific machine information. We also developed a printer walkthrough whcih leads users through a series of questions to deliver machines most appropriate to their needs.
